Where and when to see thresher sharks

Recognised by their enormously long tails, thresher sharks live in deep water and rise to shallower cleaning stations around dawn. Malapascua in the Philippines is the one place they are seen almost daily.

This guide documents sightings in 3 Good Dives regions. The most regions are in peak season in October–December.
